That has to be so frustrating. Do you take any vitamins? I have started my

husband on B6 and will add D as well. I take b6 and find it really helps.

Never ending fatigue

Hi all,

I cannot shake this ongoing fatigue. I was diagnosed in 2002 and have had a

lesion in my spinal chord that resolved with nasty iv steroids. I also have

a lesion in my parietal lobe that is pretty large and has been there since

2004. It acted up again in the spring and I did iv steroids in April. I

got steroid myopathy (not fun)and never returned to feeling myself since

then. I can function well for about four or five hours at the front end of

the day, but when the fatigue hits, it is overwhelming. I take vitamin and

amino acid supplements and this helps, and I just started Nuvigil which

helps on and off. I would love it if anyone has any other tips I might try.

I hate dragging around just when I get to see my kids after school or my

husband in the evening. I don't expect a miracle, but I would sure love a

little bit more energy to spend on my family!

Dear LizFatigue is one of the hardest symptoms for us MSers to deal with. I have never taken Nuvigil but I hear it's the improved form of Provigil. I took Provigil for awhile but it raised my blood pressure. This is what has helped me. I quit drinking coffee, tea and soda because of a severely dry mouth. I was surprised when I discovered my fatigue improved a little. It's not a drastic improvement but every little bit helps. Have you had your B12 level checked? I am grasping at straws here, Liz. I feel for you. big hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Thanks guys,

I do love my neurologist. I take Mycellized D, B Complex, Magnesium, IH ONE,

Omega, Adrenal Support and Tyrosine. I also take Copaxone which has well

controlled my inflammations. I can't figure out if my current step up in

fatigue is a result of heat, latest round of steroids, stress, or one of a

thousand other reasons. It's probably a combo of all of them. So I will just

continue to try and make adjustments in lifestyle, and get some extra rest

(apparently 9 hours a night and a lie down in the afternoon isn't enough).

Thanks for all your support. I often feel like other people just think I'm lazy

and whiny for constantly feeling too tired to do things. I know you all

understand.

I just staeted 1 teaspoon of Cod Liver Oil in the mornings - before breakfast - a lot of D and other stuff - it also works on the immune system - chug it and eat a piece of bread or something - I was told that it does help blood pressure and cholesteral and tri something

didn't really have a taste to it - a bottle about the size of a fifth is $8.99 at Walgreens

I quite going to Wal Mart for vitamins - they change it monthly and I wasn't able to get what I was used to - don't want to get out of whack

stress and heat are major - we do not have internal thermostats and you could die with too much sun - you don't realize it

Hi Liz,I'm not sure what neck of the woods you live in, butperhaps heat is also exacerbating the fatigue as well?I know it does for me. So, keeping cool would be important. For me, an antidepressant helps somewhat with the fatigue, but I too, get what I call 'crushing' fatigue; so hard to function.I really, really feel for you.We are here for you!blessings and hugs, Kate Never ending fatigueTo: MSersLife > Hi all,> I cannot shake this ongoing fatigue. it's not so much the heat - it is the humidity that hits you like a wall - it was worse in St Louis - but then I was 6 blocks north of the Missouri River

I know how bad the humidity is and I feel for anyone dealing with it.
