Guest guest
Thanks! You can make them with that cooling stuff you get from the garden store...the gel stuff that expands when you add water, then toss in the fridge... ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- RE: Knitting so far! Guest guest
They're actually all very simple - the bright-colored helmets and all the mittens are knit on 2 needles (flat) and then seamed, and the helmet liners could be... I have a short attention span, galloping carpal tunnel, and an assortment of arthritises and bursitises, so I need simple quick projects for Instant Gratification! :-D With Himself out of work all fall, we just didn't have the money for the things we usually buy/donate - I have a ton of yarn stash, though, and time in the evenings in front of the TV... I'll find the links to the patterns (yay, internet!) and put them up for anyone who might feel like a spot of knitting... in WY Practical Blackwork Designs http://practicalblackwork.com http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Hmm. Pattern wouldn't work, no place to put the gel... :-D And speaking of, gotta buy Himself some new " coolers' before spring and fire season starts again - he uses them when out on prairie and timber fires. in WY Practical Blackwork Designs http://practicalblackwork.com http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Couldn't you put it in a deflated plastic bag with a few small holes in it? Guest guest
I'm knitting up my stash - always buy way more yarn than I need - so it's kind of pot luck, but trying to make things look nice, you know? I think things are a little warmer if the person wearing them thinks they're pretty... in WY Practical Blackwork Designs http://practicalblackwork.com http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return...
