Finally, Donn nailed the post before I could, but hands down, without a doubt,

no exceptions, the best burger, in Fort Worth, in Texas, in the USA, in the

frikin UNIVERSE is Kincaids, whether it's the original location Camp Bowie, the

perfect night @ LaGraves Field watchin the AAA team go Cats, c grease drippin

down your chin deliciousness, or even NOW IN ARLINGTON @ Highland Village,

KINKAIDs is the best " commercial burger " on the market, let's see a Dr. make

that burger JOBE. Well of course unlike some of the promises made by I'm the

best cook @ home by the usual suspects (Jane) on this site of homemade

concocsions like enchilada's, tamales, Dr. 's puke @ 4 in the morning

summer time chili, steak tar tar, or a very nicely prepared cous cous, and did

you put mushrooms in that risotto.........unless you come to my home where the

best food of any culture is made, spanish, french, greek, chinese, turkish,

soul, southern chicken

fried, or good ole tex-mex, I make Chef Gordon Ramsey's menu once a week for

his show. roflmaopmp and speakin of BBQ, which we weren't but let's go for the

best BBQ in TX which in Dallas Ft Worth is Sonny 's, well at least their

Onion Rings. lol, I know the Austinites will speak up about now, cause I've had

some pretty damn good BBQ down in the Hill Country and South of Austin, let the

so " let's take the bambulance out of district and get some " good food "

I read that too, If there is a Fibro patient in your family, you will

usually find an MS patient in your family. My older daughter has Fibro and

my youngest daughter and I have MS.

nne,

I also have electric shock sensations. Sometimes, it's like a zap and other

times, I feel as though I have an electrical current going through my arms or

legs. I have not heard about a connection between MS and Fibro. But, I have

heard that Fibro has neurological component.

Back in 2009, I had contacted the assistant editor of the Fibromyalgia Network

about this very thing because a neurologist that I had been sent to on consult

told me that I did not have MS. He thought I was just out of shape. He told me

that I should be able to walk 3 miles in 30 minutes. Even when I was able to

walk 3-6 miles every day, it still took me an hour to walk 3 miles.

Anyway, I found the email that I received from the assistant editor and have

copied part of it below.

Donna in WA

Most of the research findings in fibromyalgia point to a malfunctioning of the

central nervous system (CNS), which includes the brain and spinal cord. Yet,

there appear to be a variety of abnormalities occurring in the peripheral soft

tissues (muscles and connective tissue) and the peripheral nervous system that

communicates with the CNS. This dysfunctional interplay between the CNS and

peripheral systems is believed by most investigators to be the source of the

many body-wide symptoms. In a way, fibromyalgia could be considered a disease of

the CNS.

My neuro said they go hand in hand. I have both. As far as the electric shocks, I have those too and my neuro said those were Le'Hermittes syndrome. Yet another irritating hand in hand to along with the MS and Fibro. However, he said the MS is what causes that.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerrySender: MSersLife Date: Fri, 21 Jan 2011 18:46:51 -0800To: <mserslife >ReplyTo: MSersLife Subject: Question Has anyone ever heard that fibromyalgia has a connection to MS? the way my heart sister explains it - fibro is like a pin ball game - the ball is the pain and it rackets around all over - my neuro tested me and part of the tingling painful pain is dead nerve endings - I have it toes to waist and fingertips to above the waist

when I woke up this morning I felt like I was plugged into a electric cord

it is really wierd

fibro is affected by cold - the MS by heat God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

Has anyone ever heard that fibromyalgia has a connection to MS? I am beginning to wonder if I possibly have MS too. I get like electrical shocks and then my leg or arm jump. Last night I was laying down and it started at my head and went right down into my legs. It was like if I had gotten an electrical shock. Some where I heard there is a connection but can't remember where.HugsnneTo the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world""May the Lord Bless you and keep you,May the Lord Make his face shine upon you, and give you Peace...Forever"Breast Cancer Patients Soul Mates for Lifehttp://breastcancerpatientssoulmatesforlife.bravehost.com/ Anxiety Depression and Breast Cancerhttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AnxietyDepressionandBreastCancerAngel Feather Loomerwww.angelfeatherloomer.blogspot.comThe Cancer Clubwww.cancerclub.com__________________________________________________________GET FREE 5GB EMAIL - Check out spam free email with many cool features!Visit http://www.inbox.com/email to find out more!

I think the standard for fibro is having 11 out of 18 painful spots when the dr applies pressure. I had 16 apparently. I'm also beginning to think the muscle pains I'm having in this cold weather are from the fibro not the ms ... hugs, Cait

when dr jeff touched the first fibro spot - I flenched and pulled back he saw the pain on my face and in my eyes - I looked him right in the eye and said I like you - like my heart sister said : touch me again and you will never have children

dr jeff was from East Texas so we understood each other God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

Ha, ha, ha Anne,....I always warn the Dr's when they do the reflex tests on me to stand back because I have hyper reflexes on my right side [MS worse there], and I don't want to hurt them. ;-)

Hugs, Jackie
