Interpretation of different smells of BM's website??

Hi, all...

Sorry, I looked through the forum, did a search, everything!

Someone here posted a link to a website that explained different odors of stools

and conditions associated w/those smells. Does anyone know which topic that was

under?? Or can the person who posted it post again??

Otherwise, my son has been passing these STRONG smelling (like hit you in the

face when you enter the room!) VERY MESSY poops...completely unformed and

bubbly, like very runny bread dough that has yeast acting in it. They smell

like sour milk, even though we do not give him milk. However, we do give him

colostrum, in the form of 2 pills 2x's/day. I can't imagine they would be

enough to cause this strong of a smell!

I'm assuming it is yeast being dumped...but do you all think the colostrum might

have a role?

blech!! lol...

it's hard to describe...it smells very much like sour milk, sorta sweet, though.

a better visual, i think, is it looks just like a sourdough sponge (a batter

with yeast in it), although not the same color.

He's also had very calm episodes (yesterday) followed by running, loud verbal

stimming and biting on EVERYthing (today).

The change in smell of the BM's was very sudden...we started the colostrum,

along with his cal-mag combo at that time.

When we first started with yeast, someone told me stool during

die off smelled like an elephant had died up their butt. Even that did not

describe the smell! Blechy, blechy blah!
