Guest guest
Yeast is the beast from hell. It will be desperate for sugar as that's what it requires for growth. But, I'm wondering if it could be an amino acid imbalance, too. (or perhaps a combination). Guest guest
Tammy! I also read that l-carnitine is an apetite suppressant but I didn't see any such effect on my son's apetite when he was on it. He was still mouthing a lot and had a huge apetite for carbs. I do remember reading on this forum that if you replace too much zinc, copper may become insufficient and that could lead to mouthing objects too. For my son, he will chew anything which is similar to paper. It got worse once we started the methyl b12 shots and 5MTHF. I am blaming it on yeast and parasites or a possible high dose of zinc. I was giving my son 50 mg of zinc and he ended up with elevated testosterone. I cut down the dose of zinc and chewing improved a bit. Now he is on antifungal treatment and all of a sudden chewing papers, cardboards and toys has become worse. is > > > >Â > >it is hard for these kids i know when i have high yeast in my body I would be tempted to tackle a grown man for his pizza . > >I mean I cant control myself and i am grown woman..have you looked into GAPS diet? i give my son GSE first thing in morning on epty stomach and last thing at night on epty stomach ..he was 35 pounds i was giving five drops two times a day but always start small and work up GSE is strong stuff and can irritate tummy if give too much > > > > > > > >To: mb12valtrex > >Sent: Sunday, September 25, 2011 7:26 PM > >Subject: GSE and picking things from the ground to eat > > > > > > > >Â > >Hi guys, can sm1 please let me know the best times to give GSE?plus my son wants to eat all the time?nhe ran after a stranger with banana?he loves and craves fruits and rice....we are scd and LOD.the thing is I know he is not hungry....just has high cravings for all theses things,we have been sc/ gaps fir a year now but still battling yeast.he picks specks of things from the ground and just eats whatever it is,edible or not!I am DEPRESED because I spank him a lot hoping that he will learn but he is just not GETING IT!can sm1 tell me watt to do pls? > > > > > > > > > > > -- > Toni > > ------ > Mind like a steel trap... > Rusty and illegal in 37 states. >

Guest guest
My older son takes carnitine everyday - I didn't noticed an appetite change with him, either. But he's a grazer. He eats small amounts throughout the entire day. There was a while when he was younger that he hardly ate at all then he'd go through these wild feeding frenzies eating everything in sight for a day or two. Both my boys were chewers. They would literally chew the cuffs off their long sleeve shirts, pens, pencils, small toys, the wires and the buttons on their controllers...you name it. They were like little goats. Zinc supplementation helped (isn't it crazy how completely different it is for everyone?!)and cleaning up their diet. They hardly do this anymore.Methyl B probably kicked up yeast in your son and now that you're starving it out, it's trying to fight back. Try giving him gum or a chew bracelet/necklace to keep his mouth busy. You might notice he concentrates better, too. You can hear my guy chew gum from across the room but it helps him focus. I would take the sign of the chewing getting worse as an indication that the antifungal is working and causing the yeast to "panic" ah ha ha. Die, Yeast! Die!-TammyTo: mb12valtrex Sent: Monday, September 26, 2011 12:05 AMSubject: Re: GSE and picking things from the ground to eat Tammy! >

Guest guest
LOL! die yeast die! love it! you r a funny girl as my son would say To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex >Sent: Monday, September 26, 2011 6:12 AMSubject: Re: Re: GSE and picking things from the ground to eat My older son takes carnitine everyday - I didn't noticed an appetite change with him, either. They hardly do this anymore. Methyl B probably kicked up yeast in your son and now that you're starving it out, it's trying to fight back. Die, Yeast! Guest guest
Yes I think both iron and zinc deficiency are a common cause.
