Guest guest
Hello,I have my son his first ever dose of L Carnitine at 5 pm two days ago. (Bedtime and night-wakings are not an issue with us anymore.)That night he woke at 3 am, I attributed it to the fact his room was v hot. Yesterday, gave him the L Carnitine for the 2nd time in the evening and he woke at 2. 30 am again. This time, Looking v loopy and tired and not saying much. He went bsack to bed in a bit. This morning his cheeks looked a little flushed.Wondering if anyone has experienced something similar?I guess I should stop for a few days and then administer it in the morning.Any thoughts? Thanks! Guest guest
Yes, we get night wakings whenever I give either of the carnitines after 4PM. I try to give it in the morning or early afternoon. If we don't make that window, I'll skip the dose for the day. Dosing anytime after 4PM guarantees night wakings for both of my kids. Guest guest
We never had a problem with night wakings w l-carnitine (and we dosed twice a day)....keep in mind that. Tonight is the full moon. See if itcontinues after Adah or two. If it continues, maybe you can try giving it first thing in the morning. Guest guest
My son has been pretty disregulated all day...funny but his teacher said the same thing, that it's the full moon and they are seeing all the kids in class be pretty disgregulated!
