KathleenWe have solar panels and a wind generator. The power generated is stored in a battery bank, then inverted to regular electricity to power our house. That's the basics. Sharon, how do you generate electric power if you are off the grid? I can understand heating with wood, I was raised that way but we used a power plant powered by gas for our electricity, little that there was. (years ago)
