Guest guest
IF she wants to keep her job, and not be fired, she should be seen by the ER--her job might give her a few days off; if she works more than 21 hoursper week, she will be able to get Workers' Compensation.Love to you both,nTo: MSersLife Sent: Sat, July 17, 2010 2:40:29 PMSubject: RE: ut oh Oh, good "selling" point - how will she work at a deli while bleeding everywhere? in WY Practical Blackwork Designs "You get a wonderful view from the point of no return..." http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com http://practicalblackwork.com ut oh My 18 year old, Lia works Sats. in a local deli. She was using the meat slicer when...yup.. .ugh, she cut a chunk of skin off! I'm someone who does NOT do well with icky stuff, so I'm trying to be brave for her, but she is being VERY stubborn and not letting me take her to the ER. It is taking a long time to stop bleeding. We are applying pressure, and she has it raised above her heart. I ran out to CVS and bought gauze and tape and we have it wrapped real tight. I have been feeling nauseous and dizzy now for about a half hour. I don't want to make this about me, 'cause it is her I'm worried about, I'm just concerned that I'm going to pass out about it. Even thinking about it makes me woozy. I'm worried about her, but she's digging her heels and refusing to go. love and blessings, Kate
Guest guest
Here's the deal: Lia works 6am to 3pm everySat., and only Sat. She works off the booksso I'm sure there is no Workman's Comp.involved. She has a week to recuperate, and if that doesn't happen in a week, she'lljust have to take off next Sat.. She also worksin an art gallery teaching painting classes, but no hands on stuff...In the meantime, sheis at her boyfriends currently. I just called, andthere is NO bleeding through the dressing thatwe applied. So...hopefully that will be the end ofthe bleeding. I told her if it starts up again, I will HAVE to take her--even if it is against herwill, to the ER, She doesn't think they'll do anything for her there. Thanks much, n,love, Kate ut oh> > > My 18 year old, Lia works Sats. in a local deli.> She was using the meat slicer when...yup.. .ugh,> she cut a chunk of skin off!
