Provider number on Ambulance

I was informed by our manufacturer of our ambulances that they were told

(second hand yes) that the state was going to start requiring the state provider

number on the side of the ambulances from now on. Is this true and if so

when does it start and what are the provisions. I will go and look around on

the DSHS web site but thought someone might know off the top of their head.
