Guest guest
LOL! This reminds me of an old Milton Berle comedy routine! " I think I lost you in the bakery. Guest guest
Actually, it is really confusing even for the natives of this area. While all of the new construction has made it a terrible task for EMS to transport patients, and they have rarely complained, the street names have now also completely been changed. I feel like I am in a Dr Seuss story, Sam I am! Lanie >>> Roy Strange 10/14/08 7:27 PM >>> Dear Ms. Lanie, I'm sorry on two fronts. Firstly that I caused you concern, and secondly that I took so long to answer. Please forgive me for both. On the timing issue, I do rotational work in another country and do so without access to email for 30 days of remote assignment before having the opportunity to return to civilization. I missed your message until now. On the other worry, I'm an old guy and used to listen to the radio with my father. Milton Berle was a favorite, and he once had a routine in which he was given a complicated series of directions where he would pass thru a bakery early in the journey. Once the instructions were complete, the straight man would ask " Got it? " , and Berle would state " I think I lost you in the bakery. " Your directions raised this memory only due to their intricacy. Please do not fear. I feel certain those medics to whom the directions will make a difference know the area and can decipher your meaning exactly. A resident alien like myself would have no opportunity to transport a pediatric patient, so you have little to worry over my obvious confusion. Again, I'm sorry I caused you concern. Roy Strange Subject: Re: Re: September 13th from 6am to 6pm Children' s Street Closure To: roystrange1@... Date: Monday, September 8, 2008, 6:54 PM Help me, was it not clear? I want to be sure our littlest patients arrive without incident caused by our construction.
