After thirty years of answering calls, last night shows there are new things to

be seen. A couple unpacking 4-6 " x2 " magnets became entrapped when one magnet

slammed into the other three. Patient one had 2 fingers and the skin of the

abdomen pinched in them. Patient two had one finger smashed and trappped. The

force exerted by these magnets was tremendous, axial pull force of 1,147 lbs.

Instructions for unpacking (which the people ignored) were to move all metal

objects within 5 feet. We quickly found there is no good tool to separate the

magnets. In the end, we had to use screwdrivers, prybar and wood blocks to pull

them apart. We were informed a retired TV repairman had a degouser, but that was

after the patients were removed.

Although the MOI was interesting, the use of the magnets is better. They were to

be used in conjunction with the foil covered walls and windows and the copper

screened doorways to block demons.

Nothing major in injuries, just flattened fingers like you would see in the

cartoons, but it was a strange call.

After the call we all noticed our watches were 5 to 20 minutes off.
