Please don't go into your mother's house alone .... you'll probably be overwhelmed by emotions, past and present. And you have to take care of you, not just for Robbin's sake but for YOU.

I just don't understand how the friend who took the dogs or the police cannot tell you where your mother and sister are. And how could they leave the house full of food without any power :(. I really wish I could join you to give a hand. I've been executrix of two estates and it's not an easy task.

I'm also worried about your health problems .... did you have that D & C before you moved to Florida and has that problem been taken care of I hope?

I know you're not in the mood but I still wish you a Happy

Sun Return ... may this be the end of your problems and their resolution lead to a comfortable, peaceful and secure life ahead for you and Robbin .... gentle hugs, Cait

Well I just talked to cousin Louise, apparently Mom was cremated and I will find both her ashes and my older sister's in Bev's house. So at least there is one question answered. Now, what happened to Bev's body is still to be discovered

I won't go in alone, whoever I go there with WILL come in with me, as will Robbin. At this juncture it looks like it will be Rob, next week, probably Monday or so. JJ (the friend) might have taken the food, or the neighbors might have, I know they were friendly and both the neighbors and JJ have keys. I just hope they didn't also ransack the place.

I have decided to celebrate life.

No, I did not have the D & C, but the bleeding stopped shortly after I got here and has not returned. But I am still going to follow-up on it, there has to be a reason I bled for so long. I will also need to start being regularly checked for colon cancer, since both my maternal AND my paternal grandmothers had it and now to find my mother also had it...too much, too close, puts me right in the line of fire. Apparently Mom also had had a colonostomy {sp} (I know my paternal grandmother did as well, my maternal grandmother died before she got to that point, but then again she was 99 when she was diagnosed).

Thanks for the Happy Birthday. I am going to try. I have a cake mix, might put it to good use, if I feel up to it.

given your sisters death there had to be a post mortem - there is a record of that - also it was a crime scene at one point

colostomy - a good friend in the 80's had one - she had had uterine cancer and spent a year at UCLA hooked up to a ... well never mind - the radiation resulted in a colostomy bag

she was a hoot - she put more into life than most people I know

I'll find all of that out when I finally GET there. Today for today there is not much I can do, so I am just going to try and "chillax" and enjoy my birthday. Might even make a cake. I have a nice little roast I can cook up for dinner, make a Yorkshire pudding to go with it.
