Guest guest
I’m sorry for the lack of participation. It’s a rough day here today. I’m just so stressed over not having money to pay bills. is having surgery on Friday. It’s just overwhelming at this time. People say oh it will get better but it’s hard to see that from here. We don’t know when that will be. We hear oh don’t be surprised if you are denied. It’s easy to say but so tough to live through. Thanks for the vent. http://countermanfamilynews.blogspot.com/
Guest guest
They usually do deny the first time, it's like they want to make sure you really HAVE a problem and are not just lazy...they denied me twice before I finally got approved, that was the third time, when I actually SAW the judge. He didn't even know I HAVE MS!!!! He had seen NONE of the massive amounts of paperwork I has supplied, so please take this advice, keep all of the originals of his paperwork and send in copies. Go to as many Drs as you can and document EVERYTHING. Get his Dr's to write a letter telling why he cannot work. Send in a copy. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- Sorry... Guest guest
Dear I am so sorry. I wish I had a solution for you but unfortunately I don't. Does your local NMMS have any funds for people in need? SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
I was approved the first time I applied. I watched a video my local NMMS loaned out. The video was of a seminar by a lawyer who had been a social security judge. Our group used to have a copy of that tape but unfortunately the good copy was lost or not returned by whoever borrowed. The last time I checked with the AZ chapter of NMMS they said they didn't have the tape any longer. I can't remember the details of the tape any longer. Guest guest
I got a lot of hassle from a twit in Oklahoma City - the physical for the medical was pure torture - we got to the City and it was over 4 hours to get in - I had been driven up by my heart sister - I can't drive out of town - the twit was insistent on a mental exam - 8 am in OKC - I don't function before ten am and I don't drive - he got nasty I went to the Congressman's office down town that happened to be a doctor and had a major meltdown - they didn't interfere but ran interference - the twit told them he would not schedule the appointment - then he made the mistake of calling me back and threatening to cancel everything if I didn't show up - wrong move on his part - I called the office in hysterics - the twit got in trouble it went to Dallas for vetting - the office the twit belonged to had been warned the Congressman had a special interest in a level playing field one of the people that filled out the paperwork about my diabilities was an RN who had done it before and knew me very well I was approved the first try - all I wanted was a level playing field To: MSersLife Sent: Wed, July 21, 2010 6:05:38 PMSubject: Re: Sorry...
