Guest guest
EMStock is this coming week. Get quality CE, entertainment and fellowship for only 20 bucks. The weather forecast is clear skies with a high in the 80s and a low in the 60s-beautiful. Don't forget the chili and barbecue cookoff. Hotel rooms are still available in the area. The band 281 South featuring Mansfield FD paramedic Baker plays Friday. They are sponsored by the Rahr Brewery of Fort Worth. The award-winning Rahr Brewery will be at EMStock giving away their wares. Saturday, Texas Poet Laureate and country legend Fromholz arrives to mingle, judge chili and barbecue, and entertain. Saturday night, the band and the Edge of Texas featuring East Texas EMS paramedic Don Elbert will perform. There will be plenty of great door prizes: books, medical equipment, REEL splints, and more. Also, this is your chance to get a great buy on a AED (courtesy of Southeastern Medical Equipment) and a RAD-57 CO-Oximeter (courtesy of Masimo). The grounds are nearly ready. Everything seems to be in order. If not registered, please register on the web site (http://emstock.com/Registration.html). Volunteers are still needed (free registration and a staff T-shirt). Contact the boss lady, Emma Bledsoe, at emma@.... We hope to see you here. If you can't afford the $20.00, volunteer for a few hours and get free admission. We want all to have a great time. Thanks to our great sponsors and speakers. It will be quite the weekend. E. Bledsoe, DO, FACEP Midlothian, Texas Mark Your Calendars! Guest guest
, My wife and I will not be able to attend this weekend either. We always look forward to the fellowship, food, and camping. A family matter requires us to be in Mansfield for the weekend. I know everyone will have a great time. Wish we could be there. and Avon > Dr. B, > > > >It looks like I won't be able to attend this year's EMSTOCK.? Its parents weekend at SFA.? Guest guest
I was all ready to go, had relief for a shift and everything, but hurricane-related operations prevented my attendance this year. Next year, I'm paying the Government to use the H.A.A.R.P. Array to heat the ocean over the East Coast instead of the Gulf of Mexico. (sorry, that's my favorite conspiracy theory, lol) Barry McClung, EMT-P
Guest guest
You did miss a great conference. CE was primo. Good food, entertainment, and door prizes. Don was cooking for us. I think I remember him saying he was going to cook red beans + rice and brisket for all the coordinators and providers he oversees at the PHR 2-3 parking lot in Arlington......that's what I remember... -MH ________________________________ From: texasems-l [texasems-l ] On Behalf Of Barry E.
