Guest guest
Read this story from Arizona...especially the line about the patient being unsecured. You want good EMS legislation that will make us safer...provide criminal penalties for crews who transport patients that are not properly restrained...manslaughter or worse....then maybe we would start taking better care for our patient's safety. It is one thing to cavalierly risk your own life...but when you do so to your patient, it is inexcusable. Ramsey was unrestrained in the back of the ambulance, tending to Ferguson, who was also unrestrained. Shurtz said Ramsey suffered minor cuts and bumps and was transported by ambulance to the Mount Graham Regional Medical Center along with . , who did not appear to be injured, was taken to the medical center in a car. All three were examined, treated and released. Ferguson was airlifted from the scene and flown to the University Medical Center in Tucson.
