Guest guest
Ok so people around here are getting tired of me saying this so I am going subject you guys to it ;)I finished my first of 5 infusions several hours ago and i can already see a difference My eyes are still shaky but my vision is noticeably clearer. I feel so positive. I didn't even realize how poor my vision had gotten until I am sitting here looking at everything like I just got new glasses or something. High Def TV looked pretty good before but tonight it is UNREAL. In real life people's faces are so bright and colorful and crisp. How is it that vision could get so poor and I not totally realize it? I mean I still have the nystagmus that I can see but wow! What an improvement already and I wasn't even expecting to notice anything for a few days. Guest guest
When first had her infusion of steroids she had that experience too. With her it wasn't vision, but walking and numbness of her legs. The steroids started working real fast, and it wasn't until they did that she fully realized just how troublesome walking had been for her. Congratulations! And good luck with the continuing treatment(s)!love/Reb>> Ok so people around here are getting tired of me saying this so I am going subject you guys to it > > I finished my first of 5 infusions several hours ago and i can already see a difference My eyes are still shaky but my vision is noticeably clearer. Guest guest
Sooo.....last night I had my reg cup of coffee with my husband and I had remarked that I don't know what I did but I think I made the coffee a little weak and he said " tastes fine to me " and I didn't really think much about it. This morning I went to the local gas station to get coffee for work and usually my experience with coffee first thing in the morning looks something like " oh sweet Jesus that is delicious " well this morning it again tastes watery and blah. So, I am thinking it is ME that can't taste the coffee because the guy next to me had his own little orgasmic " mmmmmm, their coffee is so good " moment as he took a sip. I am guessing this is a result of the steriods but anyone else have this and does it go away? I noticed that my food for dinner last night was not as good as I was hoping but no biggie on not liking food - I could use a bit of that any way but coffee is the main thing I look forward to each day. Just wondering if I should begin to get over my love affair of coffee or will my taste return? When first had her infusion of steroids she had that experience too.
