Guest guest
Robbin is dandy. Rob *should* be on his merry way back home, with ETA tomorrow. I talked with the landlord of the place I want to rent this morning, told him what all is going on and that I expect to still want his home, and we can get together next week after I have seen the Bev's place and sign a lease. I am thinking of going down, checking it all out, coming back, signing the lease (if that is what we decide) and then go back down and load up a u-haul with the effects that I want to keep. Then put the place on the market and sell it, when it sells, three things might happen...1 - the long promised trip to Epcot, 2 - get a car and get my arse back on the road, and 3 - put the rest into a trust fund for Robbin's future. This all is assuming I DON'T find a will. I assume that mostly because one has not been filed and since nobody knew if or when I would appear, if someone DID have knowledge of one they would have filed it by now. So, since they have NOT, I assume there isn't one. I would prefer to go through everything in my home, not the one my sister died in. And I can arrange for disposal of the home and whatever else from here just as well. I also need to see about the mortgage, whatever loans she has, bank accounts etc...whatever life insurance might exist, and whether I will get something from the VA, since I know my mom got survivor's benefits, will I? ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- Re: Akiba--what's new? Guest guest
I have no choice. Stopping is not an option. I might not have a lot of "will" power but I have a lot of "won't" power...I won't give in, and I won't give up. It is what got me through that horrible time without Robbin, it is what kept me alive in that cabin in Wisconsin, it is what keeps my faith intact. And it is what is getting me through this. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- Re: Akiba--what' s new? More questions cause I'm worrying too ... hugs, Cait Akiba--what' s new? What's new? Guest guest
AkibaI'm glad to read you have been doing a lot of thinking and it does seem you are seeing things clearly. Did your mother or sister have a car? When do you plan on going to your sisters house to look around? big hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
I know they both HAD vehicles but I have no idea if they still do, if they were not paid for they might have been repossessed by now. We're hoping to go down on Monday. I have to go to the police to get the keys and the notary leaves at 2 p.m so I will have to get there before that. I also need to go to the funeral home and get my sisters ashes, they still have them. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- Re: Akiba--what's new?
