Guest guest
I am not against advertising your business, at the same time, read the question carefully. I didn't find any multivitamins on the following website but only weight reducing products !!!!! Is OP asking about a weight reducing product? I consider this email as SPAM. Following information I got from my pharmacist friend. For calcium and vit D supplement - Tums kids, Its an OTC (age 2-11). The best multivitamin is MultiVitamin chewable tablets by Qualitest. Others are Polyvitamin drops and fluoride by HiTech and MultiVitamin with Fluoride 0.25 mgs Drops by Qualitest. I didn't find these preparations at local pharmacies so I am using Vitamin Shoppe multivitamin for kids. / Noel To: mb12valtrex Sent: Friday, September 30, 2011 11:35:46 AMSubject: Re: Looking for a good multi-vitamin  The best vitamins I have found are here....  houselady.myvi.net   also has good Omegas. Guest guest
When people say they are looking for a multivitamin, they are typically asking about a good asd multivitamin that covers what the average asd kid needs within the biomed protocols. That usually means higher doses of certain things and omissions of others. Like dyes, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, etc. Here's the inactive ingredients list of Tums:Calcium carbonate, sorbitol, dextrose, sucrose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, adipic acid, natural and artificial flavors, maltodextrin, guar gum, red 40 lake, blue 1 lake. It's got pretty much everything we don't want. Tums terrible choice and there are products out there that are made for kids that don't want the toxins we're doing all we can to get rid of.There is not a single person that would recommend Qualitest with flouride to anyone on this list. For one, it has flouride. Then there's the inactive ingredients.Inactive IngredientsIngredient NameStrengthRAW SUGAR D & C RED NO. 7 FD & C BLUE NO. 1 MAGNESIUM STEARATE CELLULOSE, MICROCRYSTALLINE POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL STEARIC ACIDI know it's hard to get out of the habit of thinking that everyone has our best interest at heart. Many of them do and I"m sure your friend is a great pharmacist, but they arent' thinking about what crap we stick in our bodies. Pharmacists don't actually know much about what's available. And they know less about autism (unless they have a kid with asd, of course.) My best friend from college is a pharmacist - I would never ask her what to get. They get the same training as doctors. Mainstream pharmacists, on average, aren't going to be anymore educated about these types of things than doctors. As for the advertising, I've already taken care of it. If anyone thinks something is spam, contact me instead, and this is why. I *do* maintain this list, even if I'm not making my presence known on it regularly. I don't want the list overflowing with berating emails to someone because they made a mistake. I prefer that people don't take these things upon themselves simply because it can end up in a flame war.Cheryl I am not against advertising your business, at the same time, read the question carefully. Guest guest
Another one we bought is Agape, it tastes like orange/mango and has a good balance of stuff. I didn't like that it had a yucky form of vitamin E (I think)in it, or maybe it's Vit C. I forget but it was something I was not happy about, and I still have half a bottle in the fridge. I need to use it up, maybe I'll get myself or hubby to use it. Guest guest
You can take a look of VITASPECTRUM (vitamins and Minerals) from Klaire Lab $ 32.00 this was a recommendation from the Throughtful house now The Center in Austin, and this has been the best for my 7yo. Child with autism. Any vitamin supplement I tried before my child was not able to tolerate (a lot hyperactive, not sleeping) my child takes 2 caps one in the morning and one in the afternoon (54lb) for TH recommendation.
