Guest guest
How could it "kick up" lung worms? Were they carried in through pill or something? I don't understand... ~Antiviral Therapy 101~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com/ ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ I took hydrocortisone as part of an adrenal protocol and it kicked up lung worms. I discontinued and focused on my parasite protocl and both symptoms improved. Guest guest
Cheryl--Our backgrounds sound very similar. Especially interested in what you've been doing to treat your child's hormonal issues because nothing so far seems to be helping my son's--I'd love to compare notes sometime. Caryn--I am wondering if the steroids repressed the immune system and allowed the parasites to get stronger? Although we've been treating for parasites I am not confident we've even made a dent as we've never seen a thing from all the treatments. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > We use Prednisone 3 days a month to offset side effects of IVIG. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Pamela > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > From: mb12valtrex <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> > > > > > [mailto:mb12valtrex <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> ] > > > > > On Behalf Of georgiasand32 > > > > > > > Sent: Friday, September 30, 2011 12:03 PM > > > > > > > To: mb12valtrex <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> > > > > > > > Subject: Prednisone > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Is this a long-term medical intervention? Guest guest
Also, it is likely that most lung related issues: asmtha and allergies are parasites. This is a very common home for them. Sinuses too. Another common home is the lymphatic system: tonsils and appendix. It is funny how appendicitis and many cases of tonsillitis cannot be eliminated with antibiotics. They are houses for parasites. Guest guest
Aaaah, so it's not that the steroids caused the parasites, just gave them what they needed to thrive. Parasites were already there.Gotcha. ~Antiviral Therapy 101~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com/ ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ It enables the round worms in your lungs to mature and causes air hunger and other breathing problems. Guest guest
Pamela, Is your son getting IVIG on a monthly basis? Ever try reducing the frequency? As the period between IVIGs grows do his asd tendencies seem to resurface or is he holding his gains from IVIG to the next IVIG? I am interested in how one goes about weaning a child who has made gains from IVIG without setting them back. of course, I can not claim that my son looks less asd from IVIG. He still looks and acts asd. But I do think it has helped with the inflammation and I do credit it with his talking again. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > We use Prednisone 3 days a month to offset side effects of IVIG. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Pamela > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > From: mb12valtrex > <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> > <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> > > [mailto:mb12valtrex <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> > <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> ] > > On Behalf Of georgiasand32 > > > > Sent: Friday, September 30, 2011 12:03 PM > > > > To: mb12valtrex <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> > <mailto:mb12valtrex%40yahoogroups.com> > > > > Subject: Prednisone > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Is this a long-term medical intervention? Guest guest
Yes, we do IVIG monthly. Yes, we have reduced the frequency in the past. If his dose is 800mg/kg he can go 6 weeks between infusions no problem. He went 7 months without IVIG due to an insurance cluster and he slowly deteriorated before our eyes. The most remarkable changes happening around the 2 month mark and continued. Our son remains Nonverbal. Pamela
