Guest guest
I am hoping that some of the lawyers on here can help me out with a dilemma I have. I recently moved from one city in Texas to Houston. Unfortunately I was unable to sell my house in the other city. I decided to lease the house. I received a call from my real estate agent stating that told me a renter was found. She told me about the family and alarm bells rent off right away. Based on the proposed renters background I was able to determine I have ran their 18 year old son on multiple occasion. Their son had an automobile accident that resulted in a brain injury. Each time I ran the kid, he had stopped taking his prescribed drugs and substituted them for recreational drugs. Obviously I can't tell the real estate agent about my dilemma, but what rights do I have to say no to a qualified applicant. thanks, Steve
Guest guest
So long as your decision is not based on race, religion, gender, and so forth, you can pick and choose your renters. Being on drugs is not a protected status. GG > > > I am hoping that some of the lawyers on here can help me out with a dilemma > I have. I recently moved from one city in Texas to Houston.
