Guest guest
Its a suprise why they could not diagnose you until that date and you live in the US and not in somewhere in Africa where diagnosis is much harder. I too fight every day every second and dont fuss too much...I dont ever say ''why me'' . This trucking will go on I hope for all of us... MS flares are bad enough without adding a bout of depression. I do hope you relax and rest with your family at your summer house. It sounds so idyllic to me ... hugs, Cait
Guest guest
Dad was Army and they don't deal with it I don't know if it is being an Okie (Grapes of Wrath and all that) or being a Whit or the way I was brought up - I just bulled my way through it until a toxxic workplace and supervisors that were shall we say the pits I had to fight to survive - then I woke up in June of 2004 and I couldn't move - the last one was October 2003 and I didn't listen you just keep fighting To: MSersLife Sent: Sat, July 24, 2010 2:52:24 PMSubject: Re: Hi to each of you.../to Anne Its a suprise why they could not diagnose you until that date and you live in the US and not in somewhere in Africa where diagnosis is much harder. Guest guest
my dad was born 23 December 1924 in the depression with 3 sisters yet to come - a sister and 4 brothers arrived ahead of him - they were raised on a hard scrabble farm in SE Oklahoma - you use it - recycle it - wear it out - no luxuries and until the mid 50's when my grandparents moved into town - unless they went to their kids homes - a well house with cistern for water and bathing - a path to the outhouse I grew up being taught not to give into something like illness - the weakness was in me - I suffered from allergies for two years before I got treated - sorta - dad stopped at a drugstore to get some dristan - my eyes and nose were running so hard I couldn't see and my eyes so red Dad made sure I had medical care - Grace on the other had is still ignoring reality and what I deal with on a daily basis you go until you can't walk - then you crawl - after that you finally at the 11th hour go to bed and tough it out the clinic has a bunch of quacks only interested in forcing unnecessary tests on you - no md except for my homeopath (March) since June of last year I lost my neuro in August when I refused to go through any more with the % & *( & () I was getting from the quacks Medicare will not pay for my homeopath or my vitamens and herbs - there is more than enough documentation I can't take most RX - the only two pain killers I can take - I am allergic to the generics all Obama did was convince the young docs not to take Medicare and Medicaid - the old docs are full - so many of us survive or don't survive when I took the bad fall in March I went to my homeopath as he is also a chiropractor I wasn't going to ER and spend 6 -8 hours there and get nothing that could help me - I am allergic to demeral and anything with aspirin - for me librium is an upper so I muddle on To: MSersLife Sent: Sat, July 24, 2010 3:23:56 PMSubject: Re: Hi to each of you.../to Anne And how did it go after 2004 and how is it now? Guest guest
Your story really resembles the story in grapes of wrath... I sometimes cant believe the medical and social aids in US The aids here are much better than yours What is homeopath? I dont know what to say for the things you had to strugle with. Youpassed a real hard time. But the strugle goes on dear Anne, we never give up. Even breathing is precious.
