Guest guest
I should lend you some of those viruses I had then... Two weeks of barely eating sure shows. My clothes are a lot more loose-fitting than before I was ill... I did say that it was too bad I didn't make any New Year's resolution about losing weight, as I would have had that one down already the first week of the year, without even trying... However, I am sure I'll gain the weight right back. When you lose weight that way and that fast it rarely lasts.love/Reb>> Hi Terri,> I think you'll find exercise should 'pick you up' a bit. Guest guest
I sure do. In fact I was thinking last night as I was about to fall asleep: "To just lay down like this (not sit up, or half sit up as I had to do for much of the time when I was ill), and breathe with ease and without the intake of air starting off an attack of coughing, and without any acute pain in the throat. And just go to sleep like that. Fully expecting to sleep through the night if nothing unexpected happens. What a luxury!"Being ill can make you appreciate the so called "little things" (not so small anymore when they are gone...). And I sure appreciate being well again. We don't have what I'd call an exercise routine, no. We play some table tennis and frisbee golf on our Wii. But that's more for fun than for exercise. I used to walk a lot before I started to have problems with my knees. 10 klometers (somewhere between 6 and 7 miles) was what I'd call "a long walk", but nothing extraordinary. The regular kind of long walk, so to speak. Unfortunately, the arthritis, and from time to time torn meniscus, in my knees has made that a whole lot less pleasurable. And that's really what have caused me to gain weight. I am not very overweight (at it's most 1 stone I'd think), and in fact, right now (before I have gained back what I lost being ill) I don't think I am overweight at all, having a flat stomach and all.... (not that it'll last...). But of course, it could be a lot better. love/Reb> >> > Hi Terri,> > I think you'll find exercise should 'pick you up' a bit. Guest guest
6 or 7 miles just a 'long walk'? Oh brother. That's practically a marathon for me! I'm so sorry your knees are so painful. What an adjustment in your life that must have been. (I *wish* I had a flat stomach...mine rhymes with flat...Frisbee golf sounds like fun, but I can't even imagine how you would play something like that. Our daughter 'swiped' the wii from us, so we are 'wii-less', poor wittle us!Enjoy your health and good sleep!love to you and , Reb,KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Fri, January 14, 2011 3:57:43 AMSubject: Re: Kate : dr's apt. tomorrow...
