I am working on getting stronger every day! Each day I go out to feed the chickens and ducks. I laugh at the antics of the chickens as they race around to grab food that I throw. We have one chick (hatched here) that is about 3 months old now. She is a red hen and I named her Lucy. Then we have 4 chicks that are about a month and a half old. One was hatched here on the Solstice and that is her name. Her 3 little buddies came from the feed store as company for her. We have a yard full of grown hens, a nice rooster named Red and a slew of ducks and 4 drakes. Today I went and sat outside for awhile, watching the storm clouds. Then I walked to the turkey coop and filled their feeder with food for them. I am trying to get over my fear

of walking outside. I am getting stronger from the MS flare I had in May. My walking is getting more steady and my left leg isn't dragging so much. But I am still being very, very careful when I walk. I have to concentrate on walking, thinking about every step.I have had some distress over life not going the way I want it to go. I feel like I am stagnant here. Do any of you ever feel that way?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. So glad you're getting out and about again! It's booooooooooor-iiiiiing

sitting in the house all day anyway... :-) Good that you are feeling

stronger and better!

I know what you mean about " stagnant " , though. Now that I have to wait

on someone else for almost everything I want to do outside the house, I feel

like I am " waiting " ALL the time, and it gets so frustrating! There are so

many things I miss just being able to go do when I felt like it...

Sigh. Ain't no fun being " old and decrepit " before I'm old and

decrepit!

You are so right, . I don't drive either (not since 2002) and I am so sick of 'waiting' for everything. I know my family is busy and I know they have other things to do but it is so hard to stay home almost all the time. If I have an appointment then they take me. I only go to Wal Mart about every three months. I seldom go anywhere any other time. Sometimes I think I will just get me a car and start driving again. But then I have to be reasonable and responsible and know I can't really drive safely. It's the pits:)There is a plus to staying home though. I save money! lol SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
