Your supper sounds good, Akiba! Yum:)I made wheat bread dough this morning, shaped it into 'hamburger' buns and will bake them in about a half hour. My son is making turkey burgers with my homemade sandwich buns. I have some home canned red jalapenos to go on our sandwiches. I'm looking forward to it. Last night we roasted a whole chicken then had "El Pollo Asado"---flour tortillas, with pieces of chicken rolled up in them and homemade salsa. Man! That was the best meal. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made

BTW, I have been a bit wobbly lately, haven't fallen but, well, just wobble sometimes...especially when I just wake up. So I went on eBay and got an iRenew bracelet. Won't be here for a bit but was a lot cheaper then on TV (theirs are $19.95 & about $10 s & h, if you want the second one, your total is about $35 for the two) This was $7.75 with free shipping, BIG difference. I could get 4 for less then their two cost, and still have enough left over for lunch

I don't know if they work but for $7 it's worth a try. I'll let y'all know when I get it and if I notice a difference.

The red jalapenos are the green ones left on the plant to ripen more until they turn red. They have a different taste and are milder. It's my favorite pickled peppers I think. Did my own "chicken pasta" (or "the GOOD chicken pasta" as calls it).I chop up and fry an onion, or maybe two (I use the yellow variety),then toss in some ground chicken meat (about 1 pound) and fry that too,add some red chili pepper when the meat is almost done, then add a can or jar of passata di pomodoro (puréed tomatoes, 100% tomatoes, no additives)a dash of wine or balsamic vinegar, and as many Greek olives as I like (it really should be Greek olives, I have tried others, including my favorite Italian olive, and it just isn't the same), green or black or both. Add half a cube of chicken bouillon (or the equivalent)Let it simmer. Towards the end, add feta cheese, or some variety of. Taste it to see if it needs more red chili, or salt, or whatever. Then, for the final touch: add about a teaspoon of ground cocoa beans (or cocoa powder) and stir (delicious withchili!)Done!Serve with pasta. ;-)love/Reb>> What's everyone doing for dinner tonight?

Wow, that sounds amazing, Reb! Yum. My mouth is watering just reading this! I'm going to have to copy, paste and print this out. I'm the only one in the family that likes olives. I like pitted basic black olives; not fond of Greek ones. Is feta cheese the same as goat cheese? Yes, right? duh, I forget so much, it isn't even funny!Enjoy your meal.love,KateTo:

True Feta Cheese (the Greek variety) is made from either sheep's milk or from a mixture of that and goat's milk. So, yes, some kind of sheep/goat cheese. Then again, any of the similar kinds of cheeses can be used for this dish. Use one you like.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feta_cheeselove/Reb--- In MSersLife , Kate Rothschild wrote:>> Wow, that sounds amazing, Reb! Yum. My mouth is watering just reading this! That's the one that is supposed to restore balance.

http://www.irenewbracelet.com/

I have read some reviews, all seem to say that it DOES work, so I'll give it a try.

Just in case anyone wants it, here is a link to the auction:

Did my own "chicken pasta" (or "the GOOD chicken pasta" as calls it).

I chop up and fry an onion, or maybe two (I use the yellow variety),

then toss in some ground chicken meat (about 1 pound) and fry that too,

add some red chili pepper when the meat is almost done,

then add a can or jar of passata di pomodoro (puréed tomatoes, 100% tomatoes, no additives)

a dash of wine or balsamic vinegar,

and as many Greek olives as I like (it really should be Greek olives, I have tried others, including

my favorite Italian olive, and it just isn't the same), green or black or both.

Add half a cube of chicken bouillon (or the equivalent)

Let it simmer.

Towards the end, add feta cheese, or some variety of. Taste it to see if it needs more

red chili, or salt, or whatever.

Then, for the final touch: add about a teaspoon of ground cocoa beans (or cocoa powder) and stir (delicious with

chili!)

Done!

Serve with pasta.

;-)

love

/Reb

aha that explains it we have 2 and they are talking about a 3rd if they haven't already built it - we also have 2 Wal Marts and a Sams Club - they want a 3rd one - after 26 years we still haven't gotten out target store God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
