it is great when you can just embrace who you are. i talk to myself out in public..am in my own world and sometimes I act like im five. but I am real. and know who I am. and can look anyone dead in the eye and tell them exactly whats up.

so its all relative..I mean who defines what is acceptable behavior? I met so many people who are so good playing the part of who they are suppose to be. they have been acting a part for so long theyare dead inside.

This is so funny... long before I knew my son was well, whatever he is...he was speaking a few words. But when we would go out in public, he wouldROAR at people. Like once we were waiting in line and he didn't want to be that far back in the line,he starts ROARING. I was rotfl. I have no idea if that was the beginning of him being anti-social,socially challenged, nervous/anxious or just developmentally sound... but it was funny. :-)

you could try hissing at people like a cat.

I do that and it works quite well. no one asks me out to breakfast..maybe once in a blue moon but a qiuck hiss and they back off.

well im thinking my plan will be to buy the sheet by the foot..at 17 bucks a foot for my son would be about 80 dollars..and then i could make a makeshift box to put over his head like a little house..instead of getting the bed net

or cage.. i would think it would work as well/...

Oh my, those cages are ridiculously expensive. Hmm. Looks like we'll be shutting everything off. Already Mia is less chaotic with the Wifi off. We only have one other wifi network show up on our computers as available in our house and it is pretty weak. We have the opp to move next May (within the area) and our search for a home will now include finding the place with least EMF activity. There was a certain point in my life where I realized that I just did better when I was in the woods. I thought it was the woods. Now I see there may be something more going on!There is a 'radio free zone' close to where I used to climb in West Virginia, of interest. Zinc deficiency can cause dysphagia (hard time swallowing). And I think sense of smell is affected. That's why lack of zinc will sometimes result in kids who want sweet and or mushier food. My daughter has been eating meat more now

that I have her back on nightly zinc.

OMG I had totally forgotten. OMG!!!Alek used to have the most severe gag reflex. Horrible, yes anything would cause him to hurl, even post nasal drip.

 

He used to gag over everything that grossed him out.  When this happens, he can't get it in check.  If he feels like he's gonna toss his cookies, he just blows.

I started supplementing zinc to address his pica issues and his adversity to (so many) foods and lo and behold!  It took care of the gagging - an added bonus!  His tolerance for noise is also much better than it used to be.

My son has been on his protocol for the past 1 year and it is the only protocol

so far that we have seen actually any positives (prior to that we did some DAN

protocol but never did the chelation, also classical and sequential homeopathy).

My son is still non-verbal for the most part, he has only few words that he can

say, but his attention is so much better, he is happier and willing to learn, as

prior to that he was more in his world.

Initially he was on high doses CORE supplement which treats the KPU problem, now

he is on lower doses and we are still treating him for parasites, which are one

of the biggest issues for him. Dr. K says it may take us up to an year to get

rid of them completely, so it is a long process. Every time we see him (we go to

his office every 4-6 months) he changes the dosages and supplements based on his

ART testing. We also had to do lots of changes in our house - no wireless

Internet, phones or anything like that, earthing pads, sleeping sanctuary,

propolis vaporisers (against any spores of mold) and air purifiers. The whole

change in the house helped not only my son but everybody else, because I don't

get anymore any headaches and overall everybody sleeps much better.

I did the Yasko protocol for 2 years and I'm on the borrellia yahoo list. I

know some on that list see Klinghardt, I'm just looking for some testimonials

like the NeuroSensory Center, NIDS and Andy Cutler chelation groups have. Many

of us who have been around a while have tried lots of protocols. Klinghardt's is

not one I've tried. I do read quite a lot of what he writes and discussed high

doses melatonin with him years ago at a DAN conference. Mostly I talk to parents

and all I know with recovered kids recovered their kids with diffferent methods.

I believe I've seen at least one LIA conference set of DVDs and a set of DVDs of

Klinghardt's own conference. He began the conference with a guitar and singing.

OMG I had totally forgotten. OMG!!!Alek used to have the most severe gag reflex. Horrible, yes anything would cause him to hurl, even post nasal drip.

He used to gag over everything that grossed him out. When this happens, he can't get it in check. If he feels like he's gonna toss his cookies, he just blows.

I started supplementing zinc to address his pica issues and his adversity to (so many) foods and lo and behold! It took care of the gagging - an added bonus! His tolerance for noise is also much better than it used to be. -- Toni------Mind like a steel trap...Rusty and illegal in 37 states.

Krassi, Did you do Tonsillectomy for your son? If yes, which Anaesthesia did you

use and by what method Mask or IV?

Yeah, people need to get out of the right/ wrong mindset.Basically IMO it is this:Mitochondrial dysfunction... do anything to support the correction of this.How you do this is varied. Just keep plugging away till you see improvements. Use what works, toss out what doesn't after reasonable trial,

revisit what didn't work occasionally.I am pretty open to all of it (chelation does scare me due to moving metals... don't want to make things WORSE, ya know!)my biggest pitfall is trying to remember everything and not taking enough notes.

Taking notes might have saved me a lot of time and back tracking.I like to write my notes here, so I tend to not have anything in handwritten notes at home, to review.

yes i take a lot of notes my house looks like the nutty professor...notes everywhere!

problem is i have no organizational skills so when i want look something up i cant find it hence i end up having to try and remember everything..sigh.

well you can try andy cutler chelation and if you dont see any improvements you can always stop.

I have papers everywhere but mine are printed from the internet, then laminated some of them, and then I also have all these pecs printed and laminated,because although my kids are verbal I felt it would help if I made up visuals.

However I just printed and laminated and didn't organize the visuals. So likely what will happen is I will recover my kids withoutvisuals and then have to donate all this stuff to someone who wants to organize it. LOL

My couch is more like a disorganized office. So sad! I am working on it though!

We just got her amalgams out recently and I have 3 quadrants left on myself.I am thinking we will do AC in a couple years when we can do it together. Or when I can do it first.I think 3 quadrants will take all next year to get out and then supposed to wait a bit before chelation I think??

Yes, my son had tonsillectomy 2.5 months ago as per Dr. K's recommendation. This

had been probably the most difficult decision we had to ever make, because I was

so afraid of the surgery and the general anesthesia and possible regression

after that. We researched very carefully what anesthesia to use for the surgery

and what we ended up using was Versed, Sevoflurane and Fentanyl. Versed was

given in the very beginning as a liquid to make him relaxed and not afraid of

the mask. Thanks God everything went well and my son woke up only an our after

the surgery, got up from bed and wanted to go home. We did homeopathic remedies

before and after the surgery for swelling and for pain, also increased the

frequency of B12 shots before and after for detoxification. We did also 48 Days

detox homeopathic remedies. My son's OCD increased after the surgery which was

very shocking to me (but not for Dr. K - he said this is very normal), but

finally is getting under control and greatly diminished. According Dr. K we

should see dramatic improvements 6-9 months after the tonsillectomy, so we will

see..
