I'm confused. My nada had a job interview today. The whole deal is very

convoluted. Who knows which details are true that she's told me so far much

less what she would say about how the interview went. Yet, I find myself

somewhat hopeful she could have some income for a change. Sigh.

Is it that I want to pry? Am I genuinely concerned for her? Do I just want to

feel relief that she will have a check to pay her own way instead of scheming it

out of others for a change?

Hope springs eternal, I guess. Not sure how healthy that is, though.

Bottom line, I don't know if I should ask her how it went or just wait til she

calls or texts me. Maybe I think she will be upset with me if I don't ask.

I am having to hang back now with mine. I still have not spoken to her. I just

am hoping to hang onto this boundary. I know she will hurt me every time. It

sounds like you are in a no-win. I never realized this is what I have spent my

life trapped in, one after the other, until my therapist pointed it out. it's

one no-win position after the other after the other. sigh. I am letting nada

come to me because then when it inevitably goes badly I won't have to hate

myself for making the first move, too. LOL. Hugs.
