I don't know if it is the LDN but I do have dry mouth, especially at night, I go through at least a litre of water every night. I usually take two of those 1/2 litre bottles to bed with me, one frozen and one just cold. The frozen one thaws during the night so I still have cold water when I wake up to, well...dispose of the water I already drank. It isn't bad enough to sleep with a hard candy, and that always makes me nervous anyway.

Do you have a cpap machine, Anne? I have one, and though there is a humidifier with it, I still tend to get dry mouth also. Glycerine swabs can be helpful also. Like you Akiba, I drink water all night long. My mouth had gotten so much better since my doc changed my high blood pressure pill so I can see there is a definite difference now with the Ldn. No, been on 4.5mg since 7/8/04...no problems thankfully....no progression.

Sharon, if you have to drink water all night, aren't you having many trips to the bathroom? I was surprised that you restarted the ldn at that high a dose .... hugs, Cait

Yep, I am up to the bathroom multiple times. I hate that! Lots of people start LDN at that dose. No dry mouth from taking LDN and no side effects at 4.5 mg, thank goodness.

I do get dry mouth from other meds such as zanaflex and neurontin to the point that my dentist once asked if I had taken up smoking. I'm not taking those drugs now and the dry mouth went away.Dan U dao_nguu@...
