I'll start looking on ebay. When did you have a fire? I've had two house fires where I lost everything. It's lousy, isn't it? hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I collect cookbooks, too. I especially like the fund-raising type cookbooks from churches. I suppose you have those in Sweden, Reb? My very favorite cookbook is a fund-raising cookbook from a Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, Minnesota. I have been looking for a cookbook my mother cherished called "The Modern Family Cookbook" by Meta Givens. My mother's copy burned in our house fire when I was 15. I should do a saved search on Ebay! I hadn't thought of that before. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The slight

We found a really old cookbook recently. Well, that is found, she is sort of collecting them, but I've been reading a bit in it. And when I say "old", I mean the kind where the recipe for "knack" (the Swedish Christmas toffee) says "pour all the ingredients into your cast iron pot and put the pot over the fire"...It's fun reading and I think most of our dinners this week will come from it, more or less (and with a few adjustments, of

course...). For tonight I am thinking either a scallion gratin or a soufflé with mushrooms or a thing with potatoes, parsnip and bacon. We'll see...love/Reb>> I bought a spiral sliced ham at the store for only 77 cents a pound. I baked it > this afternoon, baked three yams for the yam eaters in the family, made mashed
