What do you use to treat ear infections on your kids ? Both my boys (3 and 2yo )

are CFGFSF and I'm trying to stay away from antibiotics. My little one hasn't

been feeling well. I have heard of garlic oil but I have never used it

before... how do I apply it, inside the ear canal ? What else can I do ?

Thanks everyone for all your advice, all this natural way to go is so new to me.

I found the pulsattila remedy at a local store but turns out it contains lactose

so we are not using it. I ended up taking him to the clinic last night after

another day if not eating and one of his ears looked red so i just needed to

know.... He doesn't have an ear infection after all tons of wax and a little

redness that's all. He started throwing up this morning and isn't keeping

anything down. I haven't given him any of the supplements that he has been

taking he won't keep them down right now. He still has a lot of gas and he

definetly not as active as usual. Would the probiotics help if he has a stomach

bug ? I have been giving him 2 adult culturelle this week so far( he is 2 ). I

am not sure if that's too much... What do you all think ?

Hi, I don't know if you've resolved this yet, but I wanted to chime in. My son

used to have chronic ear infections. They resolved after we used Valtrex,

vinpocetine, and NAC. I think the vinpocetine was probably the most helpful

thing.

Culturelle contains 12ppm of casein. I know my son cannot tolerate it. Probiotics are always a good idea and especially with a tummy bug, but I would be careful with Culturelle if he is sensitive to dairy.
