Guest guest
We have had the hardest rain I have ever seen here. Our driveway was running like a river and was inches deep. The garden is totally under water and we hope it isn't ruined. We can't tell right now if our road is still here. We do know the water has carved deep washes into the road. That happened before it got dark. Water was pouring in the back door so my son and his family were out in the downpour trying to divert the water. The two month old turkeys were nearly completely underwater with just their heads sticking out of the water. My 14 year old granddaughter discovered them and rescued the poor little things. I had been out feeding the chickens when the rain hit. To assess further damage we will have to wait for morning light. It was a nice coincidence that supper tonight was grilled cheese sandwiches and steaming tomato soup! big hugs to each of you... from super soggy Northern Arizona:) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, We just went through this a little over a week ago. Our gullys are about 4 ft and the water was over flowing and running across the driveway. We went to Check on my Aunt who lives about 10 min from here and it took 45 min due to flooded roads. The water in some areas was so deep that it was up to the car windows in some of the parking lots. They had to evacuate the east side of town where my Aunt lives. It sure is scary. Glad you are ok. Hugs nne To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world""May the Lord Bless you and keep you,May the Lord Make his face shine upon you, and give you Peace...Forever"Breast Cancer Patients Soul Mates for Lifehttp://breastcancerpatientssoulmatesforlife.bravehost.com/ Anxiety Depression and Breast Cancerhttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AnxietyDepressionandBreastCancerAngel Feather Loomerwww.angelfeatherloomer.blogspot.comThe Cancer Clubwww.cancerclub.com -----Original Message-----From: wobbletowalk@...Sent: Thu, 29 Jul 2010 19:58:13 -0700 (PDT)To: mserslife Subject: flooded! Guest guest
Thanks Dan....We were fortunate. Our next door neighbor's property no longer has a driveway--just deep gulleys. It washed out totally. SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
