Guest guest
This just struck me as very significant for so many of uswith Multiple Sclerosis and with other serious and longlasting medical conditions.I was working in public health in California when Medicare, was finally past; my parents could recall the day that Social Securitywas begun--and if I "Google" a bit more, I can find out when theSocial Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) was added, survivors'benefits, Medicaid and SSI (Supplemental Security Income),all of it.I, for one am very grateful for all that our dollars do for so manyof us--though--sadly--often not for teachers--which annoys me.Still, I am in a mood to celebrate on this July 29th, the anniversaryof Medicare--everyone swore that it would ruin the country.Love to all who depend on any of these programs, includingS-CHIP (State Childrens' Health Insurance Program),n Rojas
