I'm trying to address some issues with my crews and I'm needing to know

what type of process other agencies use to determine weather an

employee is capable of performing the lifting requirements of the job.

The other things I'm needing to find is some training videos or

information on safe lifting and routine ambulance operations as well as

EVOC. If anyone could help point me in a direction on any of these

items I'd appreciate it.

The DOT website has an EVOC course on powerpoint. It is free, and i got

it to do a class at AEMSTAR EMS.

If you are a subscriber to TML they have back safety information. National

Safety Council has a CEVO class available.

HCESD-1 education department offers classes to any department that requests it.

Try VFIS insurance in regards to the training information.
