Guest guest
Hi:I recall that a microbiologist in New Zealand had cultured a special bacteria (probiotic) for his son who was repeatedly absent from schoolbecause of strep throat. Later on the same product came to be available in Canada. I have the details if anyone is interested.I was interested for myself but backed off when my son, a mainstream physician, laughed at it (allopaths are like that) and I didn't have any consumer report or feedback. Please let me know if anyone has used this specific product for strep and what the experience has with its use. Its a probiotic chewing gum.Ratan.-------------Ratan Singh, Phone: 91 141 2652561, mail: ratanpsych@...- Certificate in Food & Nutrition; Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education; Life Member, Nutrition Soc. of India; Member ISOM- Author of "Nutrition & Supplements in Major Mental Illnesses";- M.A. (Psychol), Postgraduate Diploma in Medical & Social Psychology, Ph.D.;- Certified Behavior Therapist (from late Prof. J. Also check for mitochondrial dysfunction which makes one vulnerable to anesthesia injury. For details on mito dysfunction, check this website: www.mitoaction.org I am sure some of the more experienced parents on the forum can suggest some natural treatments for enlarged/inflammed tonsils. Good luck is > > He has been tested for this in the past but it has come back negative. > Last week my son had tonsilitis and a private Dr said he should have his tonsils out as my sons glands are big.
