if it were my son with strep throat i would give echenechea every couple hours squirt at back of throat as well as vit c every couple hours...lots veggie broth soups...

Try checking Antistreptolysin O titers and DnaseB titers. Also check for mitochondrial dysfunction which makes one vulnerable to anesthesia injury.
