What to do when your child has an IgE allergy to everything? Neocate?

My son is IgE allergic to almost every single food on the panel. This includes

the basic ingredients in Neocate Splash. However, I thought that this elemental

liquid diet was broken down enough to not agitate any allergies? Is there any

alternative elemental liquid diet, allergen free product out there? My son does

not even have enough basic foods left to do a rotation diet on. Thanks for any

help.

Elocare is an elemental diet my son was on few yrs ago ..would have to check ingredients for allergies

Thanks for writing. I went to the Elecare site and it states the nutritional

values but does not supply an ingredients list. Does anyone know what the basic

ingredients of this are? It looks interesting.

I just wanted to encourage you with one of the children in our WA group. One

year ago he had the worst IgE/IgG allergy test our docs (who see A LOT of our

recovering kids) had EVER seen...every food on the panel was reactive. The

mother is a pediatrician herself...the child was also non-verbal at this stage.

She has been on Immusist, NDF+, good vits, alfalfa for binders & a diet which

had to be clean/w food rotation. 9 months later her IgE/IgG food panel was

pretty close to normal w/only a few reactory foods...our docs are amazed at his

improvement & the very obvious lab turn arounds that the Immusist & natural

chelation has turned around...they've never seen it turn around so dramatically

w/in such a short period of time.

As stated before, this child is now very verbal & now interacts well looking

more like a peer model w/in his childfind preschool class...this child is

changed from the inside (labs turned around) out.

Just to encourage you not to panic....there is much now available to help our

kids.

Thanks for the encouragement. My son saw an allergist three years ago who

suggested that IVIG would help, but three years later and his allergies are

worse than ever. Been on Immusist since December and about four months later

still bad allergy tests, but maybe not on it long enough. I just need to find

out what I can actually feed him!
