The List That Does Wonders!by Jane

“Gratitude does wonders for your attitude.â€

Gratitude is one of those words that you don’t hear very often, but it is one that can do magic when it comes to shifting your attitude. Make a list of the things that you are most thankful for and make it a comprehensive list. This list holds your most cherished times, possessions and people in your life.

When you’re having one of those bad days and you need to feel better, more positive and more resourceful, refer back your Gratitude List.

After all, what you are most grateful for matters most.

Don't ever give up Failure and Success is in everyone's cup

Rain becomes more enjoyable if it follows a sunny day Food become more relishing if for days Hungary you stay

So, don't ever give up Failure and Success is in everyone's cup

Gold becomes beautiful ornament by molding and heating Marble becomes beautiful status by carving and beating

So, don't ever give up Failure and Success is in everyone's cup

Pebble becomes smooth by constant rolling Pencil becomes usable by sharpening

So, don't ever give up Failure and Success is in everyone's cup

Stop trying to prove to the world how bad things are. Start showing the world how great things can be. From the very same place where you've been sliding backwards, you can begin to move ahead. Whether you're in a good place or a bad place depends entirely on where you choose to go next.

Where your passion and attention are consistently focused, is where your life will go. Focus on the positive possibilities that excite you the most.

Don't let your excuses continue to hold you back. Allow your effective and purposeful actions to move you forward.

You don't have to save the whole world in a single bound. Small steps, taken again and again, will accomplish far more than any grandiose scheme.

Now is the moment you're living, and now is the moment to give your very best to life. Yes, you can do it, so choose right now to find real joy in living your best possibilities.

it was a bit late one winter morning before she got it out - she said she got up at O dark 30 to take her husband in for tests at the VA hospital - so I responded been there - done that - I do know O dark 30 is between )430 and 0530 am in army time

so we both had a laugh - I have been getting this for years - I forward it to special people and friends God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

Accept Compliments Gracefullyby Jane

“Accept praise.â€

Sometimes the hardest thing to hear and to accept is a compliment. We tend to be guarded, possibly because we have been hurt by words in the past. We fight the urge to believe the praise; it simply can’t be true.

The truth is compliments should be embraced and welcomed. They’re an intangible gift, a confirmation of a job well done. Others may see great changes happening to you and they want to let you know. Respond with a smile and a simple “thank you.â€

You deserve to be flattered, so accept it, and enjoy it!

When you build a house,

every brick counts.

When you build a character,

every thought counts.

You are what you think.

Love, purity, peace, wisdom - the more you think

of these qualities, the more you will become them.

If you're not overwhelmed with enthusiasm for the goal, make it bigger. Make it so big and so compelling that you cannot avoid thinking about it and working on it day after day. If you find yourself complaining that it's too difficult, the real problem could be that it's not meaningful enough. You can change that.

Everything you do requires effort and some level of commitment. So make that effort and commitment count for something that's truly important to you.

Set your sights on an objective that will positively pull you toward it. Choose something that will keep you excited and enthusiastic and focused on achievement.

Give your life and your efforts a clear, solid, meaningful direction. Give yourself a compelling reason to persist through every challenge.

Envision a goal so valuable and desirable that you cannot help but work toward it every day. And be truly amazed at what you can achieve.

Put an End to the Thinking Sabotaging Your Goalsby Jane

“It’s never too late.â€

No matter what is cycling through your head at this very moment, it’s never too late to set goals, to change your life. (Really, it’s not.) Often the hardest part to getting started is overcoming that overwhelmed feeling – the one that occupies your mind when you contemplate all that you have to do at once.

You think about how long it will take; what sacrifices you have to make. You become bewildered by the endless details and fall back to the comfortable feeling of saying you’ll start next Monday or at the beginning of next month.

Today is the day you put that kind of thinking behind you. Today, focus on taking the first step toward your most cherished goal. Take care of the first detail right now, whatever it may be. Start exercising, dieting or looking for a new job. You know what you need to do.

It’s not too late to get started.

"Because you're human, it is your nature to journey, to discover that what you've been looking for is all around you. Very often the grassy spot you seek is right under your feet. You just need to awaken to that knowledge that's hidden from your conscious mind. Yes, you're wearing ruby slippers and can go home anytime you like. For now, embrace this grand adventure."Colette Baron-Reid

In whatever you do, do it well. When you make the effort, give your best to it. You cannot cheat life, so don't bother trying. If you compromise your integrity, it will quickly drain away and you'll always regret the loss.

When you do what you do, do what is right. Even though you think no one will ever know, you will always know.

You will know, and that makes all the difference. For real confidence comes from a job well done, and confidence is worth more than gold.

It doesn't have to be perfect, though the closer you can get, the better. What you must always do, in whatever you do, is your best.

The quality of what you experience in life depends on the quality of what you give to life. Make it good, make it right, make it honest, and add real, lasting value to your world.

How nice are you?by Jane

“If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.â€

We’ve all heard this saying. It’s something our parents reminded us of constantly. In fact, you my very well be cautioning your own children.

Now that you realize how hurtful words can be to others, have you every thought about the effects your own comments have on your self-esteem? Do you ever hear yourself saying nasty things about someone – that someone being you?

No one likes to be called “lazy,†“stupid,†or “fat,†and calling ourselves these names has a damaging effect on our self-worth. So today, take your own advice and the next time you begin to say something bad about yourself, try to stop. Instead of pointing out how little you have accomplished, why not acknowledge what you have achieved? And try replacing words like “I can’t†and “I won’t†with “I can†and “I will.â€

Being churlish never served us when we were young, and that is still true. Be kind to yourself.

Accept Change With A Smile Sooner or later you'll experience A crisis in your life, And how you meet it will determine Your future happiness and success. Since the beginning of time, Everyone has been called upon To meet such a crisis.A closer look will show you That most "crisis situations" Are opportunities to either advance Or stay where you are. In fact, most changes in your life Will take place out of either "inspiration" or "desperation."Whatever comes your way, Give it meaning and transform it Into something of value. Your personal growth is the process Of responding positively to change.A precious stone cannot be polished without friction, Nor humanity perfected without trials.unknown

You can get from here to there. In fact, you've already begun the journey. You can live the life you envision. So fill that vision with sound and color, with texture and rich detail.

Right now, as the result of what you are doing, you are going somewhere. Choose to make it somewhere you truly want to be.

The fulfillment of your dreams may seem to be a long way off. And yet, even in this very moment you can feel the joy of living those dreams.

Get busy and get on your way, for the path stretches out in front of you. Keep yourself inspired and in motion with your vivid imagination of how it will feel to arrive.

You know you can get from here to there, and you know how truly fulfilling it will be. Already, you're making great progress.

Push Past Fearby Jane

“Courage is acting in spite of fear.â€

We all feel fear at some time or another. It cannot be denied. Fear is a natural emotion in the face of possible danger, whether it’s the risk from actions that could threaten our lives, or from new experiences that could threaten our happiness.

A courageous woman knows that courage is not an absence of fear – it is acting in spite of fear. She acknowledges the fear she feels and is determined not to let it stand in her way. Become that woman!

Accept that risk is the price you pay for the chance for new opportunities and new beginnings. When you acknowledge your fear and push past it, you’ll reach all your goals.

House Of 1000 Mirrors

Long ago in a small, far away village, there was place known as the House of 1000 Mirrors. A small, happy little dog learned of this place and decided to visit. When he arrived, he bounced happily up the stairs to the doorway of the house. He looked through the doorway with his ears lifted high and his tail wagging as fast as it could. To his great surprise, he found himself staring at 1000 other happy little dogs with their tails wagging just as fast as his. He smiled a great smile, and was answered with 1000 great smiles just as warm and friendly. As he left the House, he thought to himself, "This is a wonderful place. I will come back and visit it often."

In this same village, another little dog, who was not quite as happy as the first one, decided to visit the house. He slowly climbed the stairs and hung his head low as he looked into the door. When he saw the 1000 unfriendly looking dogs staring back at him, he growled at them and was horrified to see 1000 little dogs growling back at him. As he left, he thought to himself, "That is a horrible place, and I will never go back there again."

All the faces in the world are mirrors. What kind of reflections do you see in the faces of the people you meet?

Stop worry What is worry? Worry is intensely visualizing and imagining the reality in your life of something you fear. And as such, worry can be terribly debilitating. It can often serve to bring about whatever it desires to avoid.

When you feel worry about to overtake you, stop. Stop that worry in its tracks by considering all you have to be thankful for, all the good things you've done, and all you are able to do.

Focus your thoughts on the capabilities and opportunities and possibilities you now have for creating meaningful value. Feel the extent of your power and effectiveness before you feel any fear.

Certainly it is useful and prudent to anticipate and prepare for the problems that may come your way. Yet it is far better to do so from a position of strength rather than mired in the helplessness of worry.

Look confidently forward and know that you can deal with whatever may come. Then get busy bringing the best you can imagine to life.

Toll of Perfectionismby Jane

“Exhausted by perfectionism?â€

Why is it that adults feel they must excel at everything they try? Why must we be competent or skillful to experience success and enjoyment? Is perfection that important?

Face facts! No one is born perfect at anything, so, striving for perfection can create frustration and disappointment. Perfectionism is a heavy weight to carry and something we would never require of a child.

Watch children that are learning a new game. They know that doing things imperfectly is part of the learning process, that trying new things leads to new insights, a new way of looking at things and new skills. Instead of being embarrassed by failure, they laugh, jump up and try again.

When we let go of perfection and allow ourselves to do things imperfectly, we come to see how perfect we are, just the way we are! It’s a subtle difference but it’s true. Our lives become more perfect when we let go of perfectionism.

Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. When you make a mistake,

don't look back at it for long.Take the lesson and move forward.Although the past cannot be changed; How to shape the future is still in your hands.

The world will challenge you. Choose to challenge yourself even more, in ways that are meaningfully fulfilling. There is much that you are expected to do. Choose to do even more, and to greatly exceed those expectations.

Life can often serve up some unpleasant surprises. Choose to always make yourself, and what you do, a pleasant surprise.

Focus not on how little you can get away with. Concentrate on how much you can get done.

Know that there is always an even better way, and find it. Let the triumphs as well as the disappointments of the past inspire you to create a more enriching and fulfilling future.

The quality of the world you live in depends on the quality of value that you're willing to create. Be more than willing, and make your world an even more beautiful place.
