Guest guest
Has anyone taken their kids to see an allergist ? We have an appointment tommorrow for my 3 yo and I am not sure what to expect. Can an allergist help our kids ? Do they even know the correlation between food and autism ? So many medical professionals seem to reject this link... It is so frustrating! We started GFCFSF back in November and we saw changes within days, after researching a little I assumed that we needed to cut more stuff out our our diet and I was right. In Jan, we did an IgG with great plains lab and turns out he reacts to SO many things, his report was a big mess. They suggested we start a rotation diet but I wasnt able to fully implement this because of the lack of foods that we are allowed to eat. Our pediatrician had no idea how to help us ( plus I sense a lot of skepticizm ) so he referred us to an allergist. What can they do for us ? What questions should I be asking ? If you have taken your kids to see an allergist what has been your experience like ?
