Guest guest
Hi, about the veininess... I was told that he might have "some kind of problem with melanin production" and that is why he doesn't tan when expose to the sun like his siblings, he is quite pale and that is why his veins are very notorious especially in the areas where never gets sun light. We live in Ontario, so the weather is really cold in winter, do you think is ok to take the sun trough the window glass? just wondering, the doctors I'd asked say it is good, but I have my doubts, because that is what I do in winter time, I undress him on the window to take a bit of sun. Comments are welcome.Sasha my kid has veininess too on her trunk. not seeing any change with humaworm but we r in the middle. right now my kid has black circles from poor sleep, extended belly, gasiness, soft poop unless she takes too much biotin, lots of head stimming, not much of an appetite and generally non verbal autistic behavior. i am so sad for her. i want to help her get better. Also i have also heard metals - they inhibit the development of heme. Ever pay attention to cats and dogs? It's no mistake they find the spot on the floor where the sun is beaming through the window to take their afternoon nap. I am a HUGE proponant of sun light. Guest guest
Agreed! Big fan of the sun but don't be in it long enough to burn. There's a reason why most American's are low in vitamin D... I don't sunbathe but I don't wear sunscreen, either. I wear a hat if I'm out for too long. My kids I'll put sunscreen on but only once and only if we do something like go swimming or if I know I need to prevent burning.Sun is bueno. Burning is no bueno. Burning causes wrinkles and aging and leathery skin (although I also think genetics plays a huge role in that department). ~ Antiviral Therapy 101~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com/ ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ Yes!Yes!Yes! Guest guest
Yep... we only put on sunscreen if we are going to be in the sun long enough to burn, something that varies from person to person. So pretty much we put it on when we go to the beach or amusement park, otherwise it's hats and shirts etc. We are fond of the " surfer " shirts/shorts for beach and swim. Guest guest
i used a homemade recipe for sunscreen that is so simple and works amazing. I got the tip from Beth Greer's book " Super Natural Home " The recipe is 1 tsp of asorbic acid (vitamin c) and 4 oz of purified water. Of course all the little travel spray pump containers are 3oz now thanks to TSA so i just altered the recipe to be 3/4 tsp of asorbic acid and 3 oz purified water. The only thing to remember is that you need to make a new batch every 5-7 days as ascorbic acid breaks down pretty quickly without any preservatives. it's also best to put it on before you leave the house so it has a chance to be asborbed by the skin. It works so well. We spent 8 hours at the beach and none of us were burned. I'm actually allergic to the sun and get a rash if i am out too long and this is the first time in 20 years that i haven't had a rash. My husband was skeptical that it would work so he only sprayed it on one arm as a test. The arm with spray had no burn while the arm without anything totally burned. (it also works great to heal the skin if you are burned) I ordered the ascorbic acid from amazon, but i also discovered it at whole foods in the bulk spices section. it's so cheap compared to sunscreen. it's raining buckets today in seattle so no hope for sun here for the next 6 months but if you are in a sunny place, give it a try! > >>Â > >>>oh no! not another humaworm thread!he,he.well im just curious if anyone else is starting the humaworm since the full moon is coming up on monday or tueday i think..halloween is around the corner...so..im going to see if i can find the great pumkin! anyone else?channa >
