Yes Kate it is a true story, and I got it from Netflix. I don't know if it can be streamed as I just get mine thru the mail. Clare Danes played Temple and she is such a good actress and did an excellent job of protraying her. I think it said at the end that Temple was still teaching today.

Robbin is the only kid I have ever heard of who "self-punishes". If he does something wrong, which is very rare, he will punish himself. Just now he did something "wrong", which could have damaged his bike but thankfully did not. When I went past his PC just now, he wasn't there. Where are you? He was in his closet! He self-punishes! It is SO cute there are no words....I told him that was not necessary...damn but he is just such an awesome kid!
