Guest guest
Ambulance Services Receive Anthrax-Laced Emails NATCHITOCHES, LA (Reuters)-Emergency personnel in Natchitoches Parish reported late Tuesday that they were forced to close the emergency communications center after a dispatcher found an email that possibly contained anthrax. Evidently, a dispatcher opened an email and quickly began to develop itching and redness of the skin. Natchitoches Fire Department officials and the Haz-Mat team were notified. The communications center was quarantined and all personnel working in the center received extensive decontamination. Two workers were transported to local hospitals. Fire Department Spokesman Gerald said, " We have been prepared for an attack such as this for some time. But, we never thought it would come in an email attack. The perpetrators of this crime were ingenious in hiding the powder within an email. " Representatives from the Department of Homeland Security office in Shreveport were on scene to supervise the cleanup. The powder and email has been sent to a lab in Washington for final analysis. went on to say, " These terrorist are getting smarter and we must be prepared. It is important to look closely and, if necessary, smell an email before you open it. If you have the slightest concern, call for help. " Officials could not confirm whether Apple computers could transmit anthrax or whether it is purely a Windows-based phenomenon. A press conference is scheduled for tomorrow in Natchitoches were additional details will be revealed. The exact source of the contaminated email is reportedly somewhere in east Texas although federal officials refused to confirm or deny the rumor. Guest guest
The terrorists must have put the scent of meat pies on the e-mail to fool the dispatcher into opening it (with their smell-mail program of course) and exposing the dispatch center to anthrax. If you have ever had a Natchitoches Meat Pie you would probably try and open an e-mail that smelled like them too. C. Guest guest
That's like the virus I received in an email a while back. Â It said: " This is an Amish email virus, you are on your honor to destroy your hard drive " . Guest guest
There is no way of knowing the extent of this exposure we may need to quarrntine this very listserver the procedure will be as follows: 1. Do not leave your computer you are now infected 2. If in a public place yell and scream as to panic as many people as possible 3. Notify the following agencies; local fire Dept, local police, local haz-mat Dept, dept. Of homeland security, the state Dept, the IRS, the labor board, the kremin, the queen, and your brother/sisters mother-in-law This situation is of the highest concern and will be handled in the order in which it was received Lmao!!! - Sent from my iPhone The terrorists must have put the scent of meat pies on the e-mail to fool the dispatcher into opening it (with their smell-mail program of course) and exposing the dispatch center to anthrax.
