Guest guest
Thought I'd change the subject line. Anne, is using a crutch the same as a cane? My bad side is my right and I was told to use the cane in my left. But I end up using my right hand to hold it. I guess I better dig out my arm weights .... especially for the left side. hugs, Cait I started with the arm crutch in January 2009 - got too wobbly - just use the one on the week side - I was slowly learning two last March with the fall - that never quite got co ordinated for me the rolling walker is too heavy for me to use now - nice extra seat though - my sister has the small walker from spraining two achilles tendons at one time - told her she was too old to run she had space boots and a walker and crutches and I think a w/c she has it stored at her home if I need it my other sister has one cane at work and the other at her home for me - extra crutch and cane are in the trunk of the car
Guest guest
Does anyone use a walking staff? SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects. Guest guest
my right side is weak - I am getting ambidextrous with it - being right handed I can use it to prop me where I need and reach with my right hand - when I meet someone they don't always understand right sided weakness - it is all over their face I was taught to use it on the weak side - use it like a right foot when you walk - harder to explain than do To: MSersLife Sent: Mon, August 2, 2010 6:50:56 PMSubject: Walking aides *Anne Thought I'd change the subject line.
