Sometimes I suppose I should listen to my husband...Today, while I was at the dentist's office with my daughter, the ceiling fell down in my dining room. Right where Isit and work on the computer. I could have been veryhurt had I been there. So...have to figure out how to fixthe ceiling, AND have to find out how to get the crapthat fell down out of the keyboard of my puter. Anyideas from anyone? Some letters are just not workingwell, and I can hear particles stuck in there. Anythoughts? The listening to my hub part was that he had beensaying that the ceiling looked like it was going tofall down, ad that I should move my puter....but I keptthinking he was being a alarmist about it.love and blessings,Kate

Wow!

That is scary. What made the ceiling fall? Try using the vacuum to

help clean out the dirt.

Wow Kate that was close. Did you try turning your keyboard over and tapping it to see if you could get any of the stuff out? How about the stuff they sell to clean your keyboards?

Hugs

OMG Kate, thank goodness you or one of the kids weren't sitting there. How much of the ceiling fell down? I hope it doesn't mean a big repair bill :(.

Other than shaking your keyboard, all I can suggest is carefully running an emery board or nail file.

Wow, Kate, you're fortunate you weren't sitting there when the ceiling came down. In addition to the keyboard, you may need to check that no dust or debris managed to get inside the processor. For the keyboard, you can start by shaking it upside down and vacuuming it. And, you might try using an old toothbrush to clean around the keys.Dan U dao_nguu@...
