Guest guest
Thanks so much to each of you who weighed in! I appreciate it. How does one space for 3 x per day? 8 am, 4 pm, and again before bed at 8 pm is what could work... But that leaves 12 hrs between doses at night....? Guest guest
Dear Ellie, If you really want, you could do 6AM, 2PM, 10 PM, it's really 8 hours apart. But the problem is we are dealing with kids. It's better to give than to skip.We don't want to wake them up for they also need sleep. That's why Iopted to do 3x a day of Valtrex because 2x a day is even lacking more.We just hope that during "sleep" less metabolism of any kind. I read the other post related to this, we gave all differentopinions. Thank you very much to everyone, I'm also learning a lot! Just my opinion, MhelTo: mb12valtrex From: writeellie@...Date: Tue, 11 Oct 2011 21:00:54 -0400Subject: Re: Getting started and scared/hopeful - Dose timing? Guest guest
Thank you and you identify the challenge - the hours you recommend conflict with SLEEP, SCHOOL, SLEEP. And that is the scenario for most of the 8 hour options I come up with.So I'm wondering if you all recommend 3x a day, then when do you give the doses to your kid??Thanks! Guest guest
Don't worry about night time. Just dose in the morning, dose when they get home from school then dose at bedtime. Try to keep an equal amount of time between doses if you can. If you can't try to stay within the half-life (approx 4.5 hours) ~ Antiviral Therapy 101~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com/ ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ Thank you and you identify the challenge - the hours you recommend conflict with SLEEP, SCHOOL, SLEEP.
