Guest guest
TEEX does. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry ECA grant Does ORCA or TEEX or TxDot still have an ECA grant program?
Guest guest
TEEX requires approximately 10 people in the class, however DSHS has grant funding for an ECA Class that only requires a minimum of 3 people, either program is great. Guest guest
As noted, TEEX/TXDOT's grant is still active, further DSHS offers an ECA Grant for rural responders (in a rural county with > 10 min EMS response time I believe is the general guideline). ORCA's EMS Enhancement Grant is also active -- but the deadline for FY09 is December 15th, so if you're going the ORCA route, better jump on it! Guest guest
The TxDOT/Rural Frontier EMS Education Grant will not only have a booth at the Texas EMS Conference (Booth 55) please stop by; as we did last year but on Monday there will be a Grant Writing Workshop from 9:45-11:45, 1-3, and 3:30-5:30 in Room 111, and on Tuesday from 2-3 there will be a presentation on the grant. Mondays workshops are designed to give the end user some tips on grant writing, grant opportunities that are out there and the ability to fill out the TEEX-TxDOT Rural Frontier EMS Education Funding Application. Tuesdays presentation on the grant is about it, what it covers (classes and pay), As mentioned please do not hesitate to contact us off line for more information, Greg LaMay Project Manager office cell .LaMay@...
