Guest guest
hello,Its been a very harrowing few weeks with my little one getting into a nasty playground fall and head injury Anyway, now back to focusing on the older one. The time has come, school is closed next week and I need to roll up my sleeves and tackle the yeast in his gut. We have not done this yet although he has been GFCF for a year. I am still on the fence about nystatin versus more "natrural" remedies like olive leaf extract (OLE). 1. Which one use???2. Are there any do's and dont's for either?3. What is the dose for OLE...he cannot take capsules so are there drops one can give? The doc has prescribed nystatin but I think she just does that for all her patients so I'm curious about OLE, it sounds more gentle and I'm not sure if I want to give yet another med.My childs yeast growth was most likely stemmed from frequent antibiotic use in the first year of his life. 4. Is there any particular anti-yeast therapy that acts better on antibiotic-induced yeast? Thanks so much,.
