Is he drinking enough water & getting enough electrolytes?(re: exercise)Sent from my iPhone

My son's latest symptom is when he moves about his movements are extremely rapid and jerky, like the way we would move if there was a fire in the house. Also lots of crashing into things on purpose. Very hard to be around since he is now ten and getting bigger every day. He has adhd and is hypo sensory which is an explanation but these symptoms have greatly increased recently. He has been getting a lot of exercise with the warm weather and it has certainly not helped. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated :-}

One of the best things I ever did for him was buy a trampoline to get his excess energy out. My son loves it. He also loves his tire swing. My son is 8 and sounds a lot like your son.

I noticed my son gets more hyper in the Spring. The only thing I can think of is there may be more allergins in the air that may be causing more stress on his immune system and therefore triggering more hyperacitvity. In the fall there a lot of mold and same effect.

I have a 8 yr boy asd .. He was put on steroids to see if it helps he has some

inflammation on his blood results.. He was calm and get the first 3 days , the

last 3 days he is off the wall . The verbal stimming and hyper non stop running

up and down. Could this be allergies ??? I am trying to think back and I think

this happens to him in the spring and summer . I know winter is always good for

some reason . He is also rubbing his eyes and nose constinly ... What should I

do??? Or is this from the steroids ?

My son is on celebrex for inflammation as we are trying to treat him for PANS.

His hyperactivity and stimming(vocal, visual and motor) is at a peak. I am

confused between allergies and yeast. Recent OAT was negative for both yeast and

bacteria so I am thinking it is most likely allergies. I have him on claritin

once daily and though his typical allergy symptoms are better, his stimming is

driving me crazy as it is simply impossible to take him anywhere with me. He

actually startled a lady at the mall and she literally got scared with the

sudden happy stimming sound that he made. I don't blame her as I would get

startled too if somebody came towards me and made a loud sound:))

We have this other thread on the forum regarding allergy meds and many parents

have suggested local honey. I havn't found it yet but I will give it a try.

I wish somebody would explain what to look for when trying to differentiate

between yeast and allergy induced behaviors.
