Guest guest
OK, so ’s old employer cancelled his health insurance. We knew that was coming. was able to get Medicaid before this took effect. But his neurologist doesn’t participate with the Medicaid. has an appointment on Friday with the Neurologist. Since talking with the Social Security case worker she was just wanting the appointment on Friday for the records. What do we do? Do we go to another Neurologist or pay out of pocket for this visit? I don’t want to mess up SS disability at this point. http://countermanfamilynews.blogspot.com/
Guest guest
As far as I know, , by law, the employer isresponsible for paying for insurance under theCOBRA law for a period of 6 months, while youlook into other insurance options. After the 6 mos,you are supposed to be able to opt in to theemployer's insurance, however,at a cost to you. This is what I understand.blessings and hugs,Kate Very important question...To: MSersLife > OK, so 's old employer cancelled his health insurance. Guest guest
If you can pay out of pocket then do it. It won't be cheap but it would be SO worth it!
