Hi, I just found this book as well. So many books talk about how to take care

of ourselves as daughtes and sons but this was the first that really described

the personalities of a bpd parent. I wasn't sure what was going on with my

mother. Mental illness runs in our family but when I read this book...there she

was. She most identifies almost exactky to the hermit. She is also very

obsessive about her possesions and I never really understood that until I read

the book. I saw the user ID hermitdaughter and I think describes what Ive been

going through as well.
