Guest guest
, Our city has a nepotism policy and it basically says two things: Employees that are related by the first degree of affinaty (i.e. siblings, parents/kids, spouses) can work for the city as long as they do not work in positions where one will supervise the other and if they are working together as peers and one is promoted, then the other has to either transfer or step down.? The second one is the city cannot hire any relative of any elected officials of the city. Otherwise, it is pretty open.? In our department, we have a full-time paramedic who is the son-in-law of a part-time paramedic and we (at their request as much as ours) schedule them on separate trucks if they are going to work the same day Dudley Nepotism Which departments currently have employees working for them that are related in some way.
