extra grandkids here and FOOD!

My daughter's two girls (7 and 10) came over yesterday to spend a week with me and the other grandkids. So there are five granddaughters here total now. The others are 8, 13, and 14. Right now all the girls are up on the top of the property playing "Spiderwick". I can hear the occasional hoot and holler:)I have a pot of homemade split pea soup on the stove and it is smelling GOOD. I think I will make some garlic bread to go with it. Yesterday I made a quadruple batch of whole wheat bread. I formed some of the dough into a large pan of rolls that we had hot with our supper last night.

Tonight I think I will make pork chops simmered in a mushroom sauce. I have some fresh cauliflower to steam, too. What's going on at your house?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
